Cowboy Heads to Le Cordon Bleu – Madrid, Spain

It is December 9, 2025. I am officially preparing to leave for Spain to start the journey of attending Le Cordon Bleu in Madrid, Spain!

The process of obtaining my Student Visa was rather straightforward, but nerves escalated as my visa took over two months to arrive. I eagerly waited and tried staying as calm as possible, then on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 it arrived!

I immediately went online and was able to schedule the flight.

My husband and I will leave the USA December 30, 2025. The real emotions will begin January 4, 2026 as he will return to the States and I will remain in Madrid.

I am blessed to have the support of my family to pursue this culinary dream, but admittedly feeling challenged with nerves to experience the distance of my family for the next nine months.

As this experience develops over the next couple weeks, I will post updates!
